What's happening?​

For the first time in nearly 40 years, the Department of Natural Resources is updating Illinois' State Water Plan. The State Water Plan provides policy and program guidance on water resources management across state agencies. As people of faith and conscience, we understand the sacredness of water and know that we have to protect our state’s sensitive waterways and ecosystems. Decisions will be made from this new plan that affect our health and the health of our environment.
